Orangeburg Christian Academy promotes fitness, emotional well-being, and encourages then ongoing maintenance of good health. holds to the tenant that students possess knowledge of and respect for the body God has designed as the “temple of the Holy Spirit.”  Physical Education coupled with supervised recess activities, outdoor play, and organized sports are integral elements vital to the developmental in children and young adults. 
 
The Athletic Department believes that advanced instruction, competent coaching, and competitive organized sports are an instrumental part OCA’s overall academic program . We strive to provide a safe environment for extracurricular and intermural sports for mastering skillsets, developing self-control, goodwill through sportsmanship, and the healthy sense of accomplishment are key parts that enhance a balanced Christian educational program.

Ladies Sports

Young Men

  • 8-Man Football [6th-12th] SCACS Football League      
  • Varsity & Junior Varsity Basketball [6th – 12th]
    • JV Basketball were SCACS State Champions in 2024-2025!!
  • Varsity Baseball [6th – 12th]

The school has been clearing an additional 2 acres to put in a Ladies Softball Field. This effort will include a regulation high school fast-pitch field, fencing, dugouts, spectator bleachers. Included on this parcel we plan to renovate a building on the parcel to accommodate a weight-lifting/training room, concessions, and restrooms. The annual fundraising goal to augment concession revenue in support of OCA Athletics for 2025 is $5000.

The remainder of the land is planned to allow shifting of the football field to allow ample space for Gymnasium on the far north side of the current lighted athletic property. The Gymnasium project will be a separate capital improvement fundraising campaign that will begin the summer of 2025..
